When I die I want to be pearled

I just found out that there are such things as giant oysters--people have found fossilized giant oysters as large as 6 feet across!! If you could farm those, think of what could be cultured as pearls. Skeletons, small tables, bowling balls, mopeds--there is practically no limit, as long as it is smaller than 6 feet long.

In other news, it's snowing here. My first order of business when I get home will be to cover my newly-planted tomatoes and basil so that they don't die of cold. Not in the original plan for my afternoon, but that's weather for you.
