fantastic and not fantastic

Two quick things:

1) Turns out I can probably get that eye surgery (need to consult with the surgeon to be 100% sure), and though I don't feel ready to go ahead with it right now, knowing that I probably can is Fantastic.

2) Not fantastic: Esther's left ear smells like cat piss and I don't know how it got there (there's nothing suspicious in the catbox bathroom). I feel a dread that somewhere in this house, there's an unpleasant surprise waiting for me.
